He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. Willie was employed at Oldsmobile where he retired as an electrician. Willie was a member of the U.S. Army, Buffalo Soldiers Division, World War II and was stationed in Italy. He loved to fish.
Willie Hudson passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, peacefully at home in Lansing at the age of 98. He was born on August 8, 1922 in Arkansas to parents, Isom and Sarah Hudson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 76 years, Dorothy Hudson; son, Leon Hudson; daughters, Lois (Hudson) Reynolds and Victoria (Hudson) Palmer; grandchildren, Kyla (Dameon) Moore, Scott Williams, James Williams, Chase (Karen) Reynolds, Ronald (Gvon) Beard, Sharonda (Terrell) Wade, Kaitlyn Hudson, and Damen Keeler; great-grandchildren, Shantay, LaShay, Dameyon, Tzimari, Prezton; great-great-grandchildren, Xavier, Za'Cory, and Zia; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his sons, Vernon Hudson, Ronnie Hudson; and granddaughter, Tracy Reynolds.
