William H. Watkins was born in Bessemer, Alabama on May 23, 1952 to Joeanna and Rufus Watkins. He was an employee of Williamston Products Inc. He accepted the Lord at an early age and was restored to fellowship in 2012. Preceding him in death: father, Rufus; mother, Joeanna; brothers, James and John Watkins. William moved on to glory September 26, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Emelta Metina and Lekeisha; sons, William Jr, Anthony, and Lamar; sisters, Mattie Powell and Georgia DeMyers; friend, Sherry Taylor; grandchildren, great grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may visit Mr. William Watkins Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 3-6pm at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 1:30pm at Lansing Christian Center Church. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
