Uvaldo Gutierrez was born March 26,1946 in Realitos, Texas to Manuel and Aurora Gutierrez. Uvaldo lived in Lansing, Michigan most of his life. He attended Lansing School District schools. He loved working on cars and driving them, once fixed up. He also enjoyed dancing. Uvaldo loved music. Uvaldo was a kind man to everyone. He always had a smile on his face, whenever you saw him. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Manual and Aurora; brother, Manual, Jr.; and sister, Aida Benevides. He left this world, to be with the Lord, on Saturday, January 7, 2012. He leaves to forever cherish his memory: his children, Julianna, Victor, Lisa and Amy; many grandchildren; sisters, Amelia (Domingo) Ayala of Jackson, Michigan, Virginia (Eugene) Ziegler and Dalia (Eddie) San Miguel, both of Lansing, Celia (Raymond) Payne of Jackson, Maria Gutierrez and Adoracion Ruiz, both of Lansing, and brother, David Gutierrez of Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Uvaldo will be greatly missed by all.
