Todd Alan Maxey, 67, East Lansing, MI went to be with our Lord November 2, 2021.

He was born February 18, 1954 in Ann Arbor, MI to Willard "Bud" Maxey and Mary Kathryn "Mitzi" (Goossen).

He is survived by: his loving wife of 44 years, Kay (Joehlin); son, Dale Maxey; daughter, Tara (Maxey) Hernandez; grandsons, Jaiden and Dominik; Father, Willard "Bud" Maxey; brothers, Eric (Lori Cartwright) and Mark (Diane Watson); brothers-in-law, Gary Joehlin, Daryl (Betty Carter) Joehlin, Bill Joehlin; and sister-in-law, Barb (Jeff) DeLong; along with many nieces and nephews.

Todd was an avid sports fan, playing golf, soccer, baseball, electronic pool and watching sports on TV, Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and Wolverines. He loved to volunteer to help others in need, giving of himself 100 percent. He served his country as a Ground Equipment Mechanic in the U.S. Air Force at Williams AFB, AZ and Hurlburt AFB, FL.

Memorial Services will be held at 242 Community Church, Lansing campus, 2600 Bennett Road, Okemos, MI 48864, Friday January 7, 2022 at 12.00 noon. Visitation will be held at 11.00 a.m. Guests are welcome to wear Maize and Blue in Todd's honor. A luncheon of Cottage Inn Pizza and slurpees (his favorite foods) will be held at 1.00 p.m.
