Tim was born May 20, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to K.C. and Norma Black. He was a graduate of Eastern High School and retired from General Motors Corporation, with 20 years of service. Tim was a very out-going person who loved people. He also had a great love for sports. He was preceded in death by: his father, KC Black; brother, Steven Black; and grandparents. Tim departed this life on June 23, 2013 at Sparrow Hospital. Timothy leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Norma Black, son, Timothy, Jr.; grandchildren, Eric, Kyren, and Jazzlynn; and good friend, Barbara Smith. Mr. Black will lie in repose Wednesday, June 26, 3-9 pm,at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 27, 11 am at New Hope GOGIC, 6025 S. Waverly Rd.with the family receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
