Thomas DeWon "Bay" George was born November 17, 1979 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Linda and Thomas Lucas. Thomas confessed Christ at an early are at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Wetumpka, Alabama, under the leadership of Reverend Nim Russel.

In 1993 the family relocated to Lansing, Michigan where they joined Solid Rock Full Gospel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Marlon Carter and Overseer James Carter. Thomas later met and married his wife of 7 years, Crystal Risper-George, at Solid Rock Baptist Church and to this union 2 children were born, Tavaris and Caydence George. Thomas was known for having a big heart. To know him was to love him. Thomas loved singing and praising God. He always spent his time witnessing and encouraging others.

Thomas was proceeded in death by: his mother, Linda Lucas; father, Thomas Lucas; brothers, Justin (Teaon) Lucas and Nathaniel Reese; and uncle, Albert C. Lucas.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Crystal George; eight daughters, Thomasiana Jackson, Talya George, Taylor Perry, Taishanna George all of Alabama, Jada George, Eva Christian, Tmija Blocker and Caydence George all of Lansing, Michigan; four sons, Deandre Ezell and Keandre Washington of Alabama, Markeis Venegas and Tavaris George of Lansing, Michigan; three  brothers, Thomas (Christine) Lucas of Augusta, Georgia, Houston George and British George both of Wetumpka, Alabama; two sisters, Gloria (Gerson) Miles of Wetumpka, Alabama and Brittany Zeigler of Deatsville, Alabama; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Simon Donald; father-in-law, Johnnie Risper;  brother-in-law's, Gerson, Charles, Craig, Deontay, Terry, Michael, Nathaniel, Johnnie and Ryan; sister-in-law's, Catrenia, Louise H., Toni, Deborah, and Louise; one very close friend, Charles (Chuck) Myles; 12 aunts; 12 uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
