Teresa was born in Lansing Michigan on June 22, 1970 and passed peacefully on January 17, 2026.

She is survived by: her husband, Thomas (Chad) Woods; children, Conner, Aedin and Willow Woods. Her children were her greatest pride and her greatest joy. She loved them fiercely, celebrated them endlessly, and made sure each one knew how deeply special they were to her. Teresa is also survived by: her mother, Janet Murray-Bentley; stepfather, Terry Bentley; and brother, Paul Murray.

She was a graduate of Eastern High School, loved nature, herbology and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Donations may be made in Teresa's memory to The Capital Area Humane Society.
