Teresa Lewis was born to Gloria Jean and John Lewis in Utah Alabama on July 21, 1986. In addition to being a daughter, Teresa was a little sister, an aunt, a cherished cousin and a dear friend. Over her lifetime she had many jobs. One of her most impactful and loving roles was that of a caregiver. Teresa cared dearly for her nieces, nephews, and children as a whole. She spoke life into them and challenged them to be their best selves at all times. Teresa would do anything she could for them; if she had it, they had it.

Teresa was a very intellectual and smart young lady. She was a critical thinker who didn't mind telling people exactly how she felt. One thing you could count on from Teresa (good, bad, or ugly) was the truth. Some of Teresa's favorite pastimes were listening to R&B music, watching lifetime movies & the ID channel and spending time with her family and friends. Teresa possessed infectious laughter and a wonderful sense of humor.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory: her grandmother, Mollie Henderson; mother, Gloria Lewis; siblings, Benita Lewis, Sharonda Lewis, John  (Shameka) Lewis Jr., Antonio (Quiana Davis-Lewis) Lewis; nephews, Latraeveon, Anthony and Adreoine; nieces, Zionae, Za'Leah and Za'Mirrah;  aunt, Lucy Williams; uncles; and a host of cousins.

She is united in paradise with: her father, John Lewis; aunts, Roberta (Tommie) Peterson, Lillian Taylor, Annie Houston and Kathleen Lewis amongst others.

Teresa will be deeply missed and is truly unforgettable.
