Visitation: Thursday, May 3, 1-5pm Funeral: Friday, May 4, 1pm at Riley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Shirley Ann Howard was born October 22,1943 to Emmett Wysong and Bertha Irene Main. She was the third of 16 siblings. She regularly attended Sanctuary Gate church in Dewitt. Shirley loved her family, church and play bingo. She had a smile that lit up the room and drew those around her close. In her younger years, she enjoyed the art of dance and music. Grandmother simply wanted to enjoy her life with activities that she loved, such as; bingo, trips to the casino and eating out. Her favorite saying about herself was I still had fire in my tank . She always knew how to make you laugh. She will be remembered as the grandma of the neighborhood, always willing to give two helping hands to those in need. Mrs. Shirley will be forever missed by her church, family, and friends. Although she is no longer with us in the flesh, her spirit lives through each and every one of us. Its hard to say bye and its forever, so we will say until we meet again. Spread your wings and fly to our Angel. Shirley will always be remembered by: two daughters, Janet and Christina; five grandchildren;and four great-grandchildren.
