Shaun Martin-Edward Williams passed away on August 24, 2017 at age 19. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend. Shaun was a great student and a very smart young man. He graduated from Eastern High School in 2016, he was a Salutatorian of his class. Through hard work and dedication to his education, he earned a full Academic Scholarship to Michigan Technological University. His plan was to graduate and work for Bethesda, as a video game designer. His passion were computers, games, music and his dog, Zeus. He is preceded in death by: his grandparents, Karen and JL Rutledge, Ronald Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Lisa Smith and Shaun Williams; grandparents, Leslie and Martin Smith; siblings, Bryant Williams, Matt Williams, Brittany Caudill and Kobe Williams; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mr. Shaun Martin-Edward Williams will lie in repose on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 3-6pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 West Saint Joseph Street, Lansing, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Riley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
