Shannon Glenn
Chambers
December 14, 1964 – June 15, 2025
Shannon Chambers, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Father's Day, June 15, 2025. He was 60 years old.
Born on December 14, 1964, Shannon was a beacon of kindness and strength throughout his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Jan, with whom he shared many years of deep love and partnership.
Shannon was the proud father of five children: his eldest daughter Armani, daughters Samantha (Raymond) Olson, Brooke (Anthony) Rue and Nina, and his son, Shannon. Shannon also had many siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His four grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and he took great pride and joy in being a part of their lives. Whether they lived near or far from him, they were always all in his heart. Shannon's love knew no bounds.
Shannon is also survived by his dear mother, Bertha Chambers, and is preceded in death by his father, Richard Thompson, and his cherished brother, Reggie Chambers.
He loved the simple, beautiful things in life. Whether fishing by the water, camping under the stars, taking road trips with his family, or tending to his garden, Shannon found joy in the moments that brought him closer to nature and to those he loved.
His faith was a cornerstone of who he was—Shannon was a devoted Christian man whose belief in God guided his every step.
Shannon was blessed with many dear friends, including Kevin Goins and Mike George, who held a permanent place in his heart. To know Shannon was to know a kind soul—someone who was almost always smiling, and whose gentle spirit brought peace and joy to all who met him.
His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of many, but his legacy of love, laughter, faith, and unwavering kindness will live on in all who knew him.
He will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
