Age 81, went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Woodrow Phillips; parents, three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include: her eleven children, Loretta, Wendell, Angela (Willie) Loggins, Lawrence, twins, Cheryl (Ernest) Johnson and Shelton, Sonya (Randall, Jr.) Fowler, twins, Maria (Roscoe) George and Marcia, Cynthia (Odell, III) Wilson, and Shonee; two siblings, Versie Mae Dixon and Jean Simspon; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Mrs. Phillips Monday, September 10, 3 - 6 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 11:00 am at New St. Paul COGIC, 1717 E. Cavanaugh St. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
