Royal Brown, Roy , was born March 9, 1955 to Homer and Idella Brown. He was the middle son and the fifth born of nine children. Roy was never married and was not blessed with any children, but he was a favorite uncle to many of his nieces and nephews. He had such a humorous character about him and kept them laughing. Roy had such a loving heart, even though you couldnt tell by the way he spoke to you sometimes. He did not hold his tongue about the way that he felt and did not mind letting you know. He loved working in the yard and garden. He always made himself available to help out. He also loved fishing and hanging out with friends and family at cook outs. Roy was preceded in death by: his father, Homer; four sisters, Ora Pepsi Brown, Laura Robertson, Darlene Zachary, and Arma Tweety Mosley; and brother, Marvin Brown. Roy passed away on October 3, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Idella Green; two sisters, Lillie (Luther) Davis and Karolyn Brown-Love, both of Lansing; brother, Harris Brown of Lansing; special aunt, Annie Kenny; favorite cousin, Darlene Kenny; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013, 12:00 pm, at Holmes Road Church Of Christ, 321 E Holmes Rd, Lansing, Lansing, Michigan, 48910.
