Ronnie
Hudson
December 8, 1952 – April 2, 2016
Ronnie "Hutnut" Hudson was born on December 8, 1952, in Lansing, Michigan. He is the youngest child of Willie and Dorothy Hudson. As a young man, Ronnie accepted Christ as his Savior with Friendship Baptist Church where he remained a member.
Ronnie received a formal education through the Lansing School District. He later graduated from J.W. Sexton High School. Shortly after high school Ronnie joined the Army. He later went on to work at Lansing General Motors, Disney World, and the American Red Cross. In his career Ronnie received several awards. However, his most treasured award was given to him while at Disney for his "Outstanding Service". Ronnie had an inventive imagination. With his creative and expanding mind he always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and owning his own business. He knew if he could "think it" it could be done.
Ronnie was a charismatic, charming and fascinating man. If you ever encountered him, you had no idea you were about to like him. He always greeted people, friend and stranger alike with his infectious smile or a silly joke.
Being the carefree spirit, Ronnie loved to travel and see new things. He enjoyed dancing and singing. He had a heavenly voice and he loved music. He was known for saying, "I'd rather sing a song than listen to it." Although his children begged to differ as Ronnie could make any random object into an instrument. Ronnie enjoyed his time fishing as well. Most of all, Ronnie loved spending time with his family.
Ronnie Hudson went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving niece, Tracy Reynolds.
Left behind to continue carrying on his loving memory and wisdom are: children, Ronald (Gvon) Beard, Sharonda Hudson, and Kaitlyn Hudson; grandchildren, Xavier, Preston, Tzimari, and Ezykiel; parents, Willie and Dorothy Hudson; siblings, Leon, Lois, Vicky and Vernon; and a special loving host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
