Campbell

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore Psalm 16:11
"Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" 2 Corinthians 9:15
Willie and Gladys Campbell were elated to welcome their first child, a son, Ronnie Lee Campbell into the world Friday, April 20, 1956, born in Lansing, Michigan. Ronnie was raised in a Christ-centered home where the gospel was taught, covenants were kept, and love abounds. As an infant Ronnie was christened at Union Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Joel L. King, where he grew up and was an active member of the youth department.
Ronnie was educated in the Lansing Public School District, graduating from Everett High School in 1974. Even as a young boy, Ronnie was a sharp dresser with impeccable taste and lit up a room with his megawatt smile and contagious laughter, touching every person he met.
After graduation, following in his father's footsteps, Ronnie became employed with Lansing's Oldsmobile, division of General Motors. It was there he developed his lifelong work ethic. His life was filled with work and pleasure, both pursued with equal passion, energy, and pride.
A man who marched to the beat of his own drum, Ronnie left Oldsmobile to join the United States Army. After his discharge, he returned to Oldsmobile and continued to work there retiring in 2005, with 31 years of service.
With just one look, he found his soulmate of 19 years, April Terry, uniting in holy matrimony in 2003 and together raising three wonderful children: Edward, Tiffany and Tyneshia. Ronnie and April had a very close bond that influenced the course of their lives. In Ronnie April found the man of her dreams; a man who was dependable, faithful, honest, caring, protective, a wonderful provider, loving father and devoted grandfather, A man who truly loved and honored his mother. Ronnie was a man of principle who didn't just love his wife. He was in love with his wife and showed it every day of his marriage. " The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." Psalm 37:23
An avid sports fan, Ronnie always had his door open for friends and family to watch his favorite team, the LA Lakers. Watching his grandmother and mother turn out scrumptious meals, at an early age, Ronnie developed a love of cooking. it wasn't long before he was creating his own tantalizing dishes including his famed Spaghetti. He became a culinary master with his meat smoker and grill cooking chickens and ribs like no one else.
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24:36
