Robin Deniece (Robinson) Lewis, 59, of Meridian Township, Michigan, left this earthly world on December 12, 2022. She was born in Clarke County, Alabama on February 12, 1963.

Robin was proud to be the first in her family to graduate from college, meeting the love of her life, Roger, while earning her Bachelor's Degree at Southern Illinois University. The couple relocated to Lansing in 1987 to raise their family. Robin was a long-time member of the Holmes Road Church of Christ, where she enjoyed serving in various roles including teaching Sunday School.

Robin retired from the Ingham County Health Department in 2011. Robin was an esteemed member of the greater Lansing community, touching countless lives through her passion for public service. She was proud to serve on the Lansing School Board, CATA Board of Directors, Ebersole Foundation, Ingham County Racial Equity Task Force, and countless other boards. Robin was recently elected to the Haslett School Board. Robin's last act of service was an organ donation to Gift of Life.

Robin was preceded in death by: her parents, Aucy Robinson and Fannie Glover; and younger brother, John Robinson. Left to cherish her memory are: her husband of 35 years, Roger Lewis; children, Rita Lewis, Rachel (Mack) Willis, Ryan Lewis and Ramaya Lewis; grandchildren, Makayla Willis and Tovia Cartman; siblings, Linda (Norman) Campbell, Walter Thompson, Bobby Neal (Gail) Thompson, Ray Charles Thompson, Vickie (Jerry) Robinson-Smith, Jacqueline Robinson. She will surely be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and all she came in contact with.
