Age 67, was born September 3, 1945 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He entered into eternal rest April 5, 2013. Robert was a retiree from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ethel Wilson; sister, Shirley Mae; paternal and maternal grandparents; and nephew Rodrick Terrell. Survivors include, one daughter, Lathrice (Donald) Wilson-Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, Lamar (Chanda) Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA and Robert Wilson, Jr. of Lansing, MI; four grandchildren, Amber, ArMon, Cierra all of Baton Rouge, LA, and Robert III Trey of Lansing, MI; one brother, Charles (Wanda) Wilson of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Ruth Wilson-Terrell of Holt, MI and Rosetta Grigley of Flint, MI; many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Very special and devoted friend, Minnie Johnson and her daughter Marilyn Morgan. Estranged wife, Carol B. Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA. Friends may visit Mr. Wilson on Friday, April 12, 3 - 6 pm at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 13, 11:00 am at the Riley Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 30 minutes prior to service.
