Obituary

Plymouth Edward Hanks was born on April 25, 1958 in Lansing, Michigan, to the union of Lynn Atkins and Marcella Faulkner.  Mr. Hanks attended Harry Hill High School in Lansing.  He was a loving son, brother, and uncle who enjoyed fishing, golfing, cooking and spending time with his family; especially his nephew, Dorean Hanks.
Plymouth went to be the Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.  He was preceded in death by:  his brother, Roosevelt Hanks; aunt, Mary Walker; sister-in-law, Gail Lynn Swanson; niece, Nyeema-Alexis Swanson, and Sarah-Gayle Galbreath.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Marcella Faulkner; two brothers, Erle Swanson of Morrison, Colorado and Joell (Ella) Hanks of District Heights, Maryland; one sister, Addie Mae Hanks of Lansing, Michigan; three nephews, Lawrence Wilson, Joell L. Hanks, Jr, and Dorean Hanks; three nieces, Sarah Galbreath, India and Roslyn Hanks; aunt, Elizabeth McClain; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Plymouth Edward Hanks will be greatly missed.


Mr. Plymouth Edward Hanks will lie in repose Tuesday,   June 7th, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Riley Funeral Home, 426 West Saint Joseph Street, Lansing, Michigan.  Funeral service for Mr. Plymouth Edward Hanks will be held Wednesday,   June 8th, 1 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home.
