Peter Keka Ruiz was born September 20, 1956 in Lansing, Michigan, to Francisco and Adoracion Ruiz. Peter was affectionately known to all as Keka. He attended Eastern High School. Keka enjoyed many things including, wood burning, cooking, swimming and just having a good time. Keka especially enjoyed spending quality time with his nieces, Savanna, MaKenzie, Asia Esperanza and Meijha. Keka was preceded in death by: his father, Fransisco; two sisters and one brother, Lena, Mona and Nuno. Keka was called to the gates of heaven on March 16, 2012. He leaves to forever cherish his memory: his loving mother, Adoracion; four brothers, Victor, Jose Jo Jo , Pelo, and Johnny; two sisters, Irene (Dale) Powell and Carmella Mona ; family from Tennessee and the Garza family; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
