August 22, 1946 – January 7, 2019
Paul Anthony Cascio,72, passed away peacefully at his home in Holt, Michigan on January 7, 2019. Born to Vincent and Anne Cascio on August 22, 1946, in Portland Oregon, Paul is survived by his three children, Tiffany Summers, Jason Cascio, and Shane Cascio; grandchildren, Evalina and Lucas Summers; and his sister Marianne Cascio.
Paul served in the United States Air Force for 22 years as a Master Sergeant and spent most of his career as an Air Traffic Controller. He took great pride in serving our country. He always had a thirst for knowledge and enjoyed history, reading, and educating himself. This desire to learn drove him to earn two bachelor's degrees, one in Human Services and another in Air Traffic Control.
Paul was an avid golfer, bowler, and baseball fan. Some of his most enjoyable moments were shared with his sons on the golf course. An animal lover, Paul rescued countless cats, dogs, and birds over his lifetime and inspired his daughter to become a small animal veterinarian. His grandchildren's fondest memories are of him playing baseball with them in his front yard.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his wife of 30 years, Linda Cascio. He was an amazing family man who loved and adored his wife and children. He will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
A private funeral for Paul will be held by his immediate family on January 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
