Obituary

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority memorial: Friday, May 4, 10 - 10:30, Union Missionary Baptist Church. Public memorial service: Friday, May 4, 11 am at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 500 S. Martin Luther King Blvd. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Norma Dabney Crider, age 69, was born on October 16, 1942 in Lansing, MI to the late Howard and Carrie Dabney and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Norma was a graduate of J. W. Sexton High School and Michigan Sate University. She was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a retired supervisor of EDS Corporation. She loved to read, sew, and was gifted interior decorator. But most of all, she loved her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Floyd Crider; parents; and brother, William Dabney. Those left to treasure her memory are: her six siblings, Gary (Myrtis) Dabney, Joyce (George) Huggins, Carol (Walter) Richardson, Bernard (Penny) Dabney, Linda Dabney Willis, and Camilla (Jeffery) Howard; and a host of loving aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and special friend, Janice Reed Small.
