Nancy L. Shepherd (Westmoreland) passed away December 1, 2016.  She was preceded in death by husband Jake Shepherd and daughter Lori K. Summers. She is survived by daughters Brenda, Cindy, and April and sons Scott and Andrew as well as grandchildren Justin, Elizabeth, Sydney, Camden, Tyler, Ashton, Ava, and Jacob. Nancy was a loving mother of 6 who devoted much of her life to a career in childcare and development. She will always be remembered as a kind caring and gentle woman with a great sense of humor.   A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 11 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lansing. Family members request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McLaren Hospice.
