Mishon D. Moore ascended into Heaven on Monday, February 24, 2025 surrounded by her family. Mishon was born on October 17, 1975 in Lansing, Michigan to Cathy Lynn Rogers-Moore (Deceased) and Kenrick Moore.

"Mish," as she was affectionately known, gave her life to Christ and was baptized at Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Charles James Patterson. Mish served as a youth choir member, a junior usher and on the nurses' guild.

Mish graduated from Lansing Everett High School in 1994, and then went on to attend Lansing Community College.

Mish was employed as a Deputy at the Ingham County Sheriff's Department, Public Safety Officer for the Lansing School District and as a  custodian one/porter at Michigan State University. She enjoyed traveling, sampling different cuisines at a plethora of restaurants, bowling,  hanging with family and her best friend/twin, Meko. Mish, had a passion for children and embraced them immensely.

Mish was preceded in death by: her mother, Cathy Moore; and grandparents, Reverend Theon and Lula Rogers and Lottie Moore.

Mish is survived by: her son, Kentrell Lane; grandson, Ky 'Mir Lane; father, Kenrick Moore; 100-year-old grandfather, Edgar Moore; grandmother, Rosie Rivers; twin-sister, Meko Moore; brother, Jhamarr Rogers; uncle, Anthony (Delores) Rogers; nieces, MeKyla Truman, Amarah and Alyse Rogers; god-parents, the late Butch (Cindy) Jackson, Sam and the late Elizebeth Bennett; god-brother/cousin, Mark Swanson; god-sisters, Jennifer Bennett and Nichelle Butler.

Mish was loved by many and the magnitude of cousins, extended family and friends she left behind is an EXAMPLE OF THE LOVE GIVEN BACK.
