It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann Korrey announces her passing on December 27, 2021. She peacefully passed with her daughter and son by her.

Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children, whom she adored: daughter, Denise; son, Phillip. She was predeceased by: her husband, David; daughter, Deborah; parents, Richard and Isabelle Luther; and siblings, Dick, Delbert, Eddie, Delores, and Sara Jane.

Mary was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 1, 1936 and was a lifelong resident who loved her work and the community. As a mother, her children knew her as their 'rock' and best friend. Beyond her family, her effortless words of wisdom touched many including her friends, co-workers, and students at Michigan State University. Mary Ann was very dedicated and passionate about her career at MSU where she worked for 29 years in Accounting. While her professional life was one of her greatest joys, she equally enjoyed fold, reading, slot machines, and shuffleboard.

To celebrate Mary Ann's life, a Celebration of Life will be held on April 7, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. at the American Legion in Haslett, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Legion Auxiliary.
