Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Mary Margaret "Dutch" Jackson, went home to be with the Lord on January 25th, 2015 in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 79. Mrs. Jackson was a Lansing resident for over 50 years. Mary is survived by: her children, Lena Jackson, Betty (Claude) Miller, Ronald Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Lakesha (Kenneth) Shareef, and Vantisha (Dicecil) Shelton; brothers, Arthur and William Sheffey; sister, Sally; special friend, L.V. Drake; and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Jackson; parents, Glen and Lena Sheffey; children, James, Emogene, Sarah, and Telisia Jackson; granddaughter, Cleo Jackson; brother, James Sheffey; and sister, Helen Black. Mrs. Jackson will lie in repose Sunday, February 1, 3-6pm at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 West St. Joseph Street, Lansing, MI 48933. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 12pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 West St. Joseph Street, Lansing, MI 48933. The family will receive visitors one hour before services begin.
