Mary died peacefully in her sleep at Bickford of West Lansing. She taught school for decades in the Lansing School District and volunteered at McClaren Greater Lansing in the E.R. for 15 years. She loved traveling, books, her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother Harold Jones, her sister Joy Kaczorowski, and her son Jerry Lintemuth. She leaves behind her beloved husband Paul Chesley. Her daughter Judy Jones, granddaughter Marney (Matthew) Turner and grandsons, Cory (Victoria) Masalkoski, and Cody (Alison) Masalkoski. Two great grandsons Sabastian and Henry, along with many nieces, nephews, special friends, and bonus families.
