Marvin Marcelle Reed passed away at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan on January 13, 2022 at the age of 59. Marvin was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 26, 1962. He came to Lansing as a kid and graduated from Eastern High School.

Marvin then went on to become a great cook, he did this for most of his life. He also loved fishing and golfing. Marvin was a very social person and loved by everyone. He would try and help anyone that needed it.

Marvin lives on in the hearts of: his sons, Calvin Morris Reed and Marcelle (Courtney Oade) Reed; daughter, Elizabeth (Thomas, Jr.) Latham-Davis; sister, Felecia (Kenneth) Orange; brothers, Wynton Reed and James Reed; grandchildren, Malachi Reed, Nevaeh Reed, George Reed, Kayla Latham-Davis, Brielle Latham-Davis and Thomas Latham-Davis, III.

Marvin is now reunited with: his mother, Elizabeth Ann Reed; father, Bernard Asham; and second mother, Emma Berry Reed.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Marvin will be loved and missed by many.

There will be no services for Mr. Reed at this time.
