Marvin Arnesto Crews, Jr. was born on September 28, 1954 in San Francisco, California.

Marvin served in the United States Army from 1972-1974. He was honorably discharged on July 30, 1974.  Marvin worked as a telemarketer most of his life.

Marvin was preceded in passing by his father, Marvin, Sr., in 2001.

Marvin went home to be with the Lord, our Father, on July 4th, 2019. Marvin is survived by: his wife, Robin; his mother, M. Jeanenette Crews of Lansing, MI; brother, Kevin (Iris) of Virginia; nephews, Akili of California and Ajabu of Virgina; cousin, Saundra McVey of California; stepson, Harold Braman; stepdaughter, Bambi Ruiz of Lansing; 8 step-grandchildren, Karena 29, Cody 29, Carmen 26, Sasha 29, Krysta 25, Brianna 21, Brittany 20, Dakota 20; 14 step great-grandchildren; his best friend, William Holden of Wyoming, MI; and many other friends.
