Martin Dale Phillips was born on January 23, 1957 to Dale and Helen Phillips in Mason, Michigan.  Martin was a father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend who loved with all of his heart.  His love and passion for his grandchildren was infinite.  Martin was a spiritual mentor to many and touched countless lives with his ability to guide and counsel.  Martin passed away on December 2, 2015.

He was preceded om death by: his parents, Dale R. and Helen A. Phillips.

Martin leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Christopher (Kristin) Phillips; daughter, Jennifer (Brice) Baker; grandchildren, Hudson, William, Lydia and Broghan; his siblings, Ernest (Millie) Phillips, Donna (Everett) Every, Catherine (John) Heppinstall, Karen (Rory) Barman; a host of special nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Patricia McCleary; and other relative and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Memorial services will be held at Mason First Church of the Nazarene, 415 East Maple Street, Mason, Michigan 48854, on Friday, December 11, 2015, family and friend are welcome to the visitation at 11:00am, Memorial services at 12:00pm and luncheon will follow the services.
