Age 88, was born July 6, 1924 and passed away peacefully May 10, 2013. She was a Housing Manager for the Lansing Housing Commission, before she retired. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Scott, 2007 and parents. Survivors include: her children, Yvonne Scott, Althea Scott, Lawrence Scott, Ellen (Keith) Bibbins, Yolanda (Rick) Spivey, and Janine Scott; grandchildren, Anwar, Brentton, Lawrence, II, Kerrel, Leah, Olivia, and Miles; sister, Ernestine Roach and twin-sister, Mary Mosley; brothers, John (Gloria) Johnson and Jesse Johnson; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Scott will lie in repose on Thursday, May 16, 1 - 6 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 12:30 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
