Marinko was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on October 4th, 1947 to Ljubomir Zubac and Maria Zubac (Švarc). He met the love of his life and wife of 41 years, Milijana Zubac ( Ć irjakovi ć ) in Mostar where they married on October 6th, 1978. Marinko graduated from the Civil Engineering University in Rijeka, Croatia and had a successful career working as an architect, civil engineer and builder. He was a proud husband and father who enjoyed fishing, soccer, basketball, tennis, family dinners and time with his family and friends.

Marinko Zubac passed away surrounded by his family, on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 at the age of 71. Marinko is preceded in death by his father Ljubomir Zubac and mother Maria Zubac ( Š varc).

Marinko is survived by his wife Milijana Zubac, son Davor Zubac with girlfriend Becky Prince, daughter Ana Carlson with husband Hans Carlson, grandson Cole Zubac, brother Dragan Zubac with wife Iva Zubac, and many loving friends and family members.

Preminuo u č etvrtak 04.04.2019 godine u 15.30 sati nakon kratkog perioda bolest u 71. godini ž ivota.

Obitelj prima sućut od 18.00 – 20.00 sati u mrtvačnici Riley u Lansing, Mi.

Ispraćaj će biti u petak 04.12.2019 godine u 10.00 sati u St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. Sveta misa po ć inje u 11.00 sati, pra ć ena ru č kom u Fr. Mac Sali u St. Thomas Aquinas Parish i pokopom na groblju Maple Ridge u Holt, Mi.

A memorial visitation will be held for Mr. Marinko Zubac on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph St. Lansing, MI 48933. Service for Mr. Marinko Zubac will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing, MI 48823 . The family will receive friends a hour prior to service.
