Maria de los Angeles Castilla, born October 1, 1943, in Lansing, Michigan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She will be reunited with her son, Gilbert Urdiales and daughter, Christina Urdiales.

Maria is preceded in death by: her mother, Feliciana Castilla; father, Rodolpho Castilla; and sister, Petra Denney (Vern). She is survived by: her son, John Urdiales (Sandra Troller-Urdiales); daughter, Maria Urdiales (Cindy); grandchildren, Wesley Doerr, Amy Doerr, Angel Veasley (Reginald), Ashly Romero (Stephen), Richard Urdiales, Elizabeth Wandell, Robert Kuziak (Kailei); 18 great-grandchildren; as well as her 14 siblings; Rosa Martinez, Sophia Mata, Josie Gomez (Paulito), Laurentina Vazquez, Elva Reyes (Rudy), Grace James (Jesse), Eva Cisneros (Juan), Michelle Castilla, Brenda Hardy (Robert), Randy Castilla (Francis), Raul Castilla (Delfina), Rodolpho Castilla (Cindy) Ricardo Castilla (Pam) and Rojelio Castilla.

Maria had a special connection with many family members and friends. Her warm, loving heart and caring demeanor was received by many, and she will be missed greatly. Friends will be received at Delta Community Center, 7550 West Willow Highway, Delta Township, MI 48917 on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
