Margaret was born February 13, 1948, to Eddie and Rendia (Clark) Brooks in Dumas, Arkansas. She is the fourth child of six siblings. Early Wednesday morning, August 24, 2022, God sent an angel to Margaret's bedside, spread its wings, and they flew away to her eternal resting place. Well done, thy good and faithful servant!

Margaret was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters; Inel Nichols and Essie Brooks; and one son, Terrance.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory: one brother, Arthur (Barbara) Brooks; two sisters, Lova Moore and Evelyn Brooks of California; one son, Lamarr Braggs; two daughters, Angela Brooks and Alicia Davis of Lansing, Michigan; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one godson, Marwan Handsome; one god-daughter, Sparkle Burton; cousins; nieces; nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
