Mrs. Marcella Faulkner was born May 16, 1933. The daughter of Adeline Smith. Mrs. Faulkner was a loving mother of five children, a grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She enjoyed interacting with family and friends, cooking, shopping, and taking trips to gaming establishments.

Mrs. Faulkner leaves behind her three-living adult children: Addie Mae Hanks of Lansing, Michigan, Erle Stanley Swanson of Denver, Colorado, Joell L. Hanks of Lansing, Michigan (married to Ella Hanks); eight beautiful grandchildren: Nicole Hanks, Sarah-Gayle Galbreath (married to Chad Galbreath), Lawrence Wilson, Arian Hanks Longmire, Arabia Hanks Longmire, Dorean Hanks, India Hanks Cleggett, and Joell L. Hanks Jr.; as well as 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, distant relatives and friends.

Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by: her husband, Theodore "Ted or Bigfoot" Faulkner; sons, Roosevelt "Rosey" Hanks, and Edward "Eddy or Plymouth" Hanks; her mother, Adaline Smith; her brothers, Johnny Smith, Walter Smith-Greener; sisters, Elizabeth Smith-McClain, Martha Ellis-Callahan, and Mary Ellis-Walker; and her stepfather, Mr. Ellis.
