Manessah
Naval
August 19, 2004 – November 2, 2024
Manessah Belle'Ange Naval gained her heavenly wings on Saturday November 2, 2024, at age 20. She was born on August 19, 2004, to Arthuria Watkins and Toidnex Naval at Ingham Regional Medical Center.
Manessah truly lived up to her middle name- Beautiful Angel- in every sense. Her presence lit up every room she entered, and her love was felt by all those who knew her. She began volunteering to serve her community at a young age and continued throughout the years. She began drawing at a young age and with her God given talent, her artwork was on display at MSUFCU headquarters for an entire year.
She knew and accepted Jesus at a young age. She kept scriptures on display in her bathroom that she would look at each morning. The last two she wrote Proverbs 2:13 and Proverbs 3: 5-6.
On April 9, 2022, she debuted with Les Meres et Debutantes of Lansing in front of family and friends escorted by her God Brother Christopher along with her Mother and Father.
Manessah attended Shabazz and Pleasant View Elementary Schools and Graduated from Everett High School as a Promise Scholar June 2022. She was a Junior at Michigan State University with a Major in Psychology. When she was not in school or serving her community- she enjoyed spending time with her younger cousins and other family.
