Louis Hartwell was born August 9, 1950 in Summit, Mississippi to Allie Mae and Walter Hartwell. Louis was one of 10 children. He attended Lincoln County Training School in Bogue Chitto Mississippi and went to Eva H. Harris High School in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He moved to Lansing, Michigan and went joined Job Corp, where he excelled in truck driving. Truck driving became his career. Louis was great at backing up and parking his truck. He was a great driver. Louis was a faithful and devoted man of God, a good man, husband, father and friend. Some of his favorite things to do in his leisure were: riding his Honda motorcycle, hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and simply being with family and friends. Louis loved his family. Even though he wasnt the oldest of the children, everyone looked up to him and would go to him for wisdom, advice, love and support. Louis was preceded in death by: his parents, Allie Mae and Walter; sister, Mary; brother, June; nephews, Derrick and Jalandis; niece, Donna; and her husband, Charles Richardson. Louis went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2012. He leaves to forever cherish his memory: his beloved wife, Patricia; sons, Darryl Tremayne, Patrick Louis, Louis Andre and Louis, Jr.; daughter, Tiffany; grandchildren, Dejania, McKail, Tearra and Armani; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Curtis, Ray, Darryl, and Michael; sisters, Barbara, Beverly Ann and Kay Francis; special niece, April Albernathy; many nieces and nephews; special brothers-in-law, Charles Richardson and James McCuin; special friends, Stella, Julia Mae and George Jackson; and a host of other family and friends, that are too many to name.
