Lola Ann "Clarissa" Waters, born April 15, 1954, passed from this world on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the age of 65.

Lola was employed by Purdential Insurance for many years, leaving there to serve the State of Michigan in the Department of Human Services, where she took early retirement in 2007 due to health issues.  She was a wonderful listening ear. She was a loving and witty woman, who loved unconditionally and furiously defended family and friends when confronted with any unpleasant situation.

Lola is welcomed home by: mother and father, Geraldine and Silvester; her sister, Roxie; brother, Sylvester, Jr.; nephew, "Mookey"; aunt, Roberta "Berta"; and uncle, Adolphus "Noonie" Ansley.

Lola leaves behind: her always loving and attentive son, Brian Henderson; nieces, Michelle "Nikki" Waters and Alexis Waters; great nieces and nephews, Tyesha, David, Montrell and Alize; great-nephew, Aiden (the sunshine of her life for the last two years); and her 44 year-long friend, Debi Robinson.

Lola will be remembered and missed by many. Rest peacefully, dear sweet Lola, you have earned it.
