49, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Nashville, Arkansas. Lisa attended the Lansing Public Schools and after graduation she attended Western Michigan University studying Business Management. She was most recently employed by Causeway Bay Hotel, as Supervisor of Housekeeping. She was a member of Tithe Missionary Baptist Church. Lisa is survived by: her children, Jeremy, Jasmine, Chikara, and Aaliyah; grandchildren, BreAsia, Kaevion, Jeremy, Jr., MiYana, Justyce and Anthony all of Lansing; her parents, Theoplis (Helen) Mitchell, Sr. and Mildred Skinner; siblings, Sharon Witherspoon of Kenosha, WI, Londell Mitchell of Lansing, Annell (Duane) McIntyre of Lynwood, IL, Theoplis Mitchell, Jr. of Lansing and Lorraine Amos of Mt. Pleasant; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may visit Ms. Mitchell Thursday, July 5, 3 - 6 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, July 6, 1:00 pm, at Lansing Church of God in Christ, 5304 Wise Rd. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to funeral.
