Linda Lee (Crampton) Scott 59, passed away November 21, 2019 at Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence after a valiant fight against Multiple System Atrophy. Linda was born in Killeen, Texas on September 1, 1960, to Edward Crampton and Dolores (Greer) Crampton. She grew up in Algonac, MI where she graduated from Algonac High School in 1978. She later settled in Lansing, MI where she would raise her three children. Linda attended Great Lakes Bible College, Ozark Bible College, and Lansing Community college and worked various jobs including Marshall Music, Cumberland Elementary School, and Auto Owners Insurance. Upon the high school graduation of her youngest child, Linda returned to school and earned her associate's degree in nursing in 2011. At the time of her death, Linda was a registered nurse at Sparrow Hospital.
Linda enjoyed knitting, sewing, traveling and cruising, and spending time at the "River House". She loved to help and mentor others, and was proud of her title as "Momma Scott" to her numerous bonus kids, some of which she opened her home to. Linda especially loved spending time with her family, and rarely missed a grandchild's sporting event or dance competition.
Surviving are her children: Sarah (Steven) Herring, Bryan (Heather) Scott, and Megan (Colter) Baker; grandchildren, Noah, Kaileigh, Eli, and Charleigh Herring, and Boston and Oakley Scott; sister, Lori (Frank) Sass; step-siblings, Charley (Linda) Maledon, Nancy (Steve) Gaarenstroom, Emily (Earl) McCartney, Richard Fougnie, and Rob (Terry) Crampton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Donald Maledon, and stepsister Sharron Martis.
