Linda Lee Owen was born February 22, 1952 to James and Susan Thedford, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She graduated from Mount Clemens High School and began her career. Linda received the Lord into her heart, 20 years ago. She attended Zion Temple in Mount Clemens. After moving to Lansing, she became a member of Mount Hope Church. She attended Mount Hope, until her passing. Linda was employed, as a cook, in the State Capitol building, for over 10 years. She enjoyed surrounding herself with people and making them laugh. She was known for telling jokes. Linda took pride in cleaning. He true passion in life were her children and grandchildren. They held a very special place in her heart. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susan Thedford. She went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 9, 2012, at the young age of 59. She leaves to forever cherish her memory: her children, Anjanette Dillard, Lynette (Shawn) Davis and Nida Dillard; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Victoria (Issac) Bursay, David (Cookie) Thedford, Diane (Anderson) Howard, Ella Thedford, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Thomas and Jimmy (Theresa) Thedford; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends, including two very special friends, Teddy and Sharon.
