Lawrence E. Anderson was born September 10, 1943 in Okolona Arkansas to Joe Anderson and Evelyn Phifer Anderson.  Lawrence was educated in Okolona Public School at an early age and later in Bells High School in Gurdon, Arkansas.

Lawrence moved Lansing in his early Twenties and was united in marriage to Cleo Jean Gentry. This union produced Darryl and Tray.

Lawrence worked for General Motors for 30 years; during his employment with General Motors he received several perfect attendance awards.  Lawrence was a people person, he enjoyed being around his family talking about the good times growing up in Okolona, Arkansas. He loved to do things with his friend's such as Fishing and Hunting for game with his three beagles: Sally, Rip & Susie.

Lawrence united in marriage to Pauline Collier Anderson in 1987 together they moved to Pottersville, MI where he enjoyed working in his auto workshop for 30 years until his health began to fail him.

Lawrence enjoyed classic car shows and riding his motorcycle.  You could find his wife Pauline of 30 years providing Lawrence with love and support.

Lawrence went to be with his Lord departing at his home surrounded by his wife and children.  Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and sibling Joe Lester Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 30 years Pauline, two sons Darryl (Jana) and Trawick (Krissy) of Lansing, two stepsons Erving Jr. (Wendie) and Bryant Collier of New Haven, MI., two sisters Ruth Thomas and Barbara Williams of Lansing, MI

Two brothers Frank (Martha) and Alfreddie (Rose), 7 Grand Children: Chynia (Xavier), Malysia, Trinity, August, Luna, Erving III, Storm and a host of other relatives and Friends.
