Mr. Wright, age 69, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 12, at his home in Lansing, MI. He attended school in Mason, MI and MSU. He retired from GTE Directories Corp. Larry enjoyed his family, all sports, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; brother-in-law, Chuck Lapaugh and sister-in-law, Pat Reams. He is survived by: his wife, Sue; his children, Larry (Kathy), Rod (Sue), and Tony; four grandchildren, Alivia, Brady, Alec, and Carson; sister, Jean (Al) Ostrom; sisters-in-law, Sheren Wright and Janice (John) Stevens; and many nieces and nephews. We send special thanks to good friends and neighbors, Mike and Cindy Shaw; Dr. Casher and the staff of McLaren Gems Unit for their kindness and for letting Sue spend extra time with Larry; and Hospice and Nicole for getting Larry home. A memorial celebration is planned for Wednesday, October 16, 4-7pm, at Cadgewith Farms Clubhouse, 2300 E. State Road, Lansing, MI 48906.
