Ms. Kim Rea Millard was born on March 24, 1968 to William Edward Millard and Suzanne Marie McConnell. She departed this life on February 27, 2015 at the age forty-six in Lansing, Michigan after courageously fighting a short-term illness. Kim attended school in Lansing, where she graduated from J.W. Sexton High School. She continued her education at Spring Arbor University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Although she received her degree from SAU, Kim was a #1 fan of the University of Michigan. She loved watching football and basketball games. At the time of her passing, Kim was in her twelfth year of service with Department of Human Services, where she was a Supervisor. She often spoke of how much she enjoyed her career and loved all of the people she had the pleasure of working withreferring to them as family. Kim was an obedient child, and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons: Christopher and Cameron Cole; three loving grandchildren; parents, William Edward Millard and Suzanne Marie McConnell; and her sister, Wendi Frary. Memorial services for Ms. Millard will held Saturday, March 7, 3pm, at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 West St. Joseph Street, Lansing, MI 48933.
