Kevin Van Cooper was born September 12, 1950 to Alpheus and Erma Cooper He was employed at Auto Owners and served in the U. S. Army with honors. Kevin had many skills, repairing furnaces, plumbing, roofing, etc. He was always willing to give his time and talent to others. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glender who passed away March 2, 2006. Our beloved, Kevin Van Cooper, passed away May 14, 2015 and leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, LaToya; two sons, Quinn and Deonte`; five grandchildren; parents, Alpheus and Erma; two sisters, Brenda (Harold) and Deborah; three brothers, Clifton, Marc (Clarissa), and Stacey; other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Cooper will lie in repose Friday, May 22, 1-7pm at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 West St. Joseph Street, Lansing, MI 48933. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 11am at the Riley Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors 30 minutes before services begin.
