Kenneth Dewey, age 72, of Potterville, passed away after a short battle with cancer on August 30, 2019 at McLaren Hospital surrounded by family.

Ken was a lifelong resident of Lansing and a graduate of Lansing Eastern High School. He was a devoted Catholic his whole life and as a young man he attended seminary school. He is retired from State of Michigan Public Health Department labs.

At the time of his death he was employed by Meijer. Ken is remembered for enjoying time with family, visiting the Philippines with his wife and sons, his passion for always learning and for his deep love of Michigan State Football. You will be missed. Go Green!

Kenneth is preceded in death by: his parents, Edward Dewey and Marie (Carroll) Dewey.

Kenneth is survived by: his wife of 29 years, Josefina (Fe) Dewey; his children: son, Edward (Fely) Dewey and grandchildren, Selena & Olivia, son, David Losey, stepson, Howard (Evelyn) Losey and step grandchildren, Grace, Ella, and Rayvn, stepdaughter, Angela (Johnathon Wilson) Losey and step grandchildren, Ava and Johnathan Wilson Jr.; his brothers, Jack (Kathy) Dewey and Donald (Dona) Dewey; sister, Linda (Bob) Randall; and many loving nieces and nephews, as well as their families.

There will be no service held for Mr. Kenneth Dewey.
