Keith
Orr
June 6, 1952 – March 19, 2021
Deacon Keith Orr was born on June 6, 1952, the only son of Lamar and Norma Orr. He was affectionately known as "Mr. O" and "Papoo". He was employed by GM for over 36 years. He was married to the love of his life, Barbara Reese Orr, for 33 years.
Keith was an ordained deacon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He faithfully attended Bible Study, Sunday School and worship service before his illness and was an active participant. He was faithful in his cleaning and repairs around the church.
Keith enjoyed his date night with his wife, Barbara. They would go to Cracker Barrels. Sometimes they would go to Wendy drive thru off the highway and park in the parking lot and watch the headlights on the freeway and talk. Keith enjoyed family movie night and holidays with family. He would go to Jackson to visit his other mother, "Big Flo". He enjoyed going to Sandra and Cathy's house for the holidays. Keith had joy being with his family. In the summer, he enjoyed going out and getting ice cream with his family.
Keith also enjoyed going to car shows and owned a vintage car. He also collected replicas of vintage cars. He loved his crime T.V. shows.
Keith leaves to celebrate his life: wife, Barbara, his daughter, Angela (Deeon) Jenkins; his grandchildren, Elijah Jenkins and Re'Anna (Aaron) Cope. He leaves two sisters, Sandra (Claude) Vaughn, Catherine (Jessie) Williams; and his first cousin, Carol (Rev Freddie) Filmore. He also leaves to cherish his memories his 4 nephews and 1 niece: Claude (Taneah) Vaughn, Reginald (Angel) Vaughn, Dominique (Ashley) Vaughn, Anthony Scott and Chaconda (Willie) George; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Florstine Reese, who loved him as a son; his brother-in-law, Jerry, who was one of his best friends; a host of nieces, nephews and relatives; special daughters, Tamisha Thomas and Erika Trice; sisters-in-law, Ionie Robinson, Diane Parker, Peggy Gardner, Florstine Herron, Stacy Reese, and Brenda Reese; brothers-in-law, Lecster Reese, Lee Reese (Tracey), James Robinson, Fred Parker, Edward Gardner, and Wayne Herron.

His church family will miss his smile and his realness. Keith departed life on this side on March 19, 2021 at the age of 68, and entered into everlasting life after he victoriously won his battle against cancer. His favorite saying was "you got to go thru to get thru."
There will be no service per Keith's request.
