On Tuesday, December 11, 1962, Kay Lynn Wilson, the eldest child of Willie L. and Daisy M. (Robinson) Wilson, began her earthly journey.
At the age of nine, Kay confessed her belief in and acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Kay graduated from the former Harry Hill High School. She also attended Lansing Community College and Central Michigan University.
For almost twenty-three years, Kay worked for Alternative Services, Inc. caring for the disabled. She worked there until her health began to decline.
Kay went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by; her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, Lee Melvin (Sara) Wilson; niece, Kaylee Wilson; nephew, Jordon King; two devoted aunts, Claudia (William) Blake and Marjorie Stokes; aunt, Erniece Johnson; uncle, Jordon (Gloria) Johnson; great aunts, Roberta Jones and Hazel Spence; great uncles, Albert Jones and Reverend Robert I. (Gwendolyn) Jones; great-great-uncle, Wiltse (Florence) Wallace; special cousins, Angela (Henry) Green and Kimberley Wilson; very special friend and supporter, Greta M. Trice; and a host of special cousins, relatives and friends.
Ms. Kay Lynn Wilson will lie in repose Sunday, January 24, 1-7pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street, Lansing, MI 48933.
