Kathie Eileen Tucker, a twin, was born July 2, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Fred and Evelyn Tucker. Kathie graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1976. She received her Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1980 and majored in Criminal Justice. She worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections and the Georgia Department of Corrections. Kathie embraced life and adventure with her sons, William and Wesley. They were the loves of her life. She was an avid reader and was always eager to engage in active discussion related to the material content of the books. Rarely was she seen without the company of her twin counterpart, Karen. They were known as The Twins. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evelyn Tucker. Kathie went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2012. She leaves many others to forever cherish her memory: her sons, William Frederick Looney and Wesley Kenneth Looney of Inkster, Michigan; twin sister, Karen Elaine Tucker of Monroe, Michigan; sisters, Cheryl Lynn (Cortez) Tucker-Daniels of Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Sandra K. Tucker of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Dr. Linda J. Tucker of Augusta, Georgia; nephew, Johnathan T. Ketzner; nieces, Dacia M. Russell, Challis E. Russell, and Emory M. Holmes; long-time friend, Reginald Looney; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
