Obituary

Juventino "Tino" Carlos-Santana Martinez, III was born in Lansing, MI to Juventino R., Jr. and Raquel (Revilla) Martinez on November 4, 1978. Tino was a roofing pioneer throughout Mid-Michigan. His commitment to excellence in the field of roofing made a name for himself for 30 years.

Aside from being a leader and hard worker, he was a devoted husband to Jamie and extremely passionate about his children Ilissa and Victoria Martinez. He was an athletic individual who loved to play golf, basketball and football. But as his children started to grow older, they were looking for a different sport where they could all be active together. Tino got them involved all involved in his true calling which was BMX Racing. Tino truly enjoyed the years he was able to spend being actively involved with his kids in BMX Racing. They would race together every weekend they could. As a young man, Tino enjoyed his time with his father in Boy Scouts and futhered his love for the Scouts by passing his experiences onto all his family members. At the age of 13, Tino lost his mother to a brain aneurysm. Then in 2016, Tino's father passed away from cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jamie (Griffen); daughters, Ilissa and Victoria both of Holt, MI; (step) mom, Kim Martinez of London, OH; twin sisters, Madison (Jose) Velasco and Mikayla Martinez both of London, OH; sister, Brittany (Korey Hoag) Lemmon of Potterville, MI; brothers, Corey (Charity) Rice of London, OH and Steven R. (Jess Lacosse) Freemire of Okemos, MI; special uncle and friend, Juan Revilla; cousin, Jesse Mireles; friend, Steve Gonzalez; a maternal aunt; three paternal aunts; two maternal uncles; and six paternal uncle's.

They're all still in shock and grieving from the sudden passing of Tino. Tino Martinez was an amazing family man, who enjoyed getting together with all his family members and friends. He was a one of a kind individual who will be missed by the many people who's lives were impacted by his generous soul.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; maternal grandparents, Macario and Brigida Revilla; paternal grandma, Rachel Garcia; and both a paternal and maternal uncle.

Pallbearers will include: Mikayla Martinez, Jesse Mireles, Eloy Zapata, Ricky Martinez, Steve Gonzales, and Paco Parker.

Tino Martinez's sudden passing has put a financial burden on his entire family. Unfortunately, during this grieving processing they are unable to provide a proper burial for Tino. We would appreciate any and all help from the bottom of their hearts. Any donation would help provide the Martinez family with the financial support needed to properly bury a truly exceptional man. Those wishing to make contributions can make them to the Go-Fund Me ( https://gofund.me/c6ac26a3 ) set up by his employer, 42 North Construction.
