Age 57, was born to Thelma Edington Jenkins and Max Edington, March 15, 1956, in Lansing, MI and took her journey to Heaven Saturday, April 6, 2013. Julie graduated from Eastern High School in 1971. She married her husband, James P. Johnson on December 10, 1994. Julie was an avid bowler, loved fishing and taking trips to the casino. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Max C. Edington and step-father, William L. Jenkins. Survivors include: her husband, James P. Johnson; daughter, Stacy (Chris) Gregurich of Lansing; three step-children, Debbie Johnson of Lansing, Laura Johnson of Charlotte, and James P. Johnson, II of Eaton Rapids; three grand children; one great-grandchild; mother, Thelma Jenkins; three brothers, Kevin (Donna) Edington of Charlotte, David Edington of Tennessee, and Earl Edington of Carson City; and step-mother, Audrey Edington. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 15, 11:00 am at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunkel Road, Lansing.
